Práce přináší výsledky rozboru keramických i nekeramických nálezů z období neolitu, pocházejících ze záchranných archeologických výzkumů a povrchových sběrů v katastru obce Staré Jesenčany (okres Pardubice). Na základě relativněchronologického rozboru keramiky nastiňuje rozsah a posuny osídlení v rámci detekovaného neolitického sídelního areálu od II. stupně kultury s lineární keramikou (LNK) po mladší stupeň kultury s keramikou vypíchanou (STK). Těžiště analýzy spočívá v souborech STK (5100/5000 - 4500/4400 cal BC), získaných záchrannými výzkumy, na nichž byly mimo chronologické znaky sledovány kvalitativní parametry jako abraze či lámavost. Studovaný sídelní areál je zasazen do širšího kontextu neolitického osídlení Pardubicka.

The paper presents the results of analysis of both ceramic and non-ceramic finds from the Neolithic period which were recovered during rescue excavations and surface surveys conducted in the cadastral area of the village of Staré Jesenčany (Pardubice District). On the basis of relative chronological analysis of pottery, it delineates the extent and settlement shifts within the identified Neolithic settlement area dating from stage II of the Linear Pottery culture (LBK) until the late phase of the Stroked Pottery culture (STK). The focal point of the analysis were assemblages of the STK (5100/5000 - 4500/4400 cal BC) which were recovered during rescue excavations and in which qualitative characters were observed, such as abrasion or fragility, along with chronological characters. The analyzed settlement area is placed within a broader context of the Neolithic settlement of the Pardubice region.
