Výstava prezentuje vývoj žánru gramatik češtiny od 16. do 19. století. Poprvé se veřejnosti předkládá ucelený soubor nejdůležitějších starých tisků gramatik dosud dostupných jen jednotlivě ve zvláštním režimu knihoven a archivů, a to v jejich původní knižní i uživatelsky vstřícné digitální podobě. Výstava je určena široké odborné i laické veřejnosti a také studentům středních a vysokých škol.

The exhibition presents the development of the Czech grammar book genre from the 16th to 19th century. For the first time, the public is being introduced a comprehensive collection of the most salient old prints of the grammar books accessible, up to date, only separately in a specific regime of libraries and archives. The exhibits are shown in both the grammars’ original bookish form and the user-friendly digital one. The exhibition is available to the wide, both expert and lay, public as well as secondary and university students.
