Historický atlas Zlína je 28. svazkem série Historický atlas měst České republiky. Přináší na pečlivé heuristice založený výběr kvalitně reprodukovaných starých map, plánů, vedut, starých pohlednic a fotografií ilustrujících vývoj města a proměny v jeho topografii. Dále jsou vybrané aspekty historie města zpracovány prostřednictvím 17 tematických (rekonstrukčních) map a 5 tabulek a úvodní studie pojednává dějiny města z pohledu dějin urbanismu, architektury a historické topografie v časovém rozmezí od pravěku do 21. století.

The historic towns atlas of Zlin belongs to the series Historic Towns Atlas of the Czech republic being its 28th volume. Based on careful heuristics, it brings high quality reproductions of selected old maps, towns plans, town views, old postcards and photographs that are to illustrate urban growth and changes in topography of the city. Selected aspects of history of the city are described with 17 thematic (reconstructional) maps and 5 tables. History of the city focusing urbanistics, topography and architecture from the prehistorc times to the 21st century is discussed in the study introducing the volume.
