Der Beitrag befasst sich mit den Typen von tschechischen Exonymen und mit der Entwicklung ihres Systems. Es sind die Klassifizierungsweisen der tschechischen Exonyme analysiert, die von ihrer Herkunft, von der Frequenz ihres Vorkommens in Abhängigkeit von der Zeit und von ihrer sprachlichen Gestalt ausgehen. Die Untersuchung der Entwicklung der tschechischen Formen von fremden geographischen Namen hat drei Grundetappen dieses Prozesses entdeckt. Die erste von ihnen dauerte vom frühen Mittelalter bis zur Wende des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts, die zweite Phase fing ungefähr zu Ende des 18. und am Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts an und dauerte etwa bis zur Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die dritte Etappe, in mancher Hinsicht unterschiedlich, beginnt um die Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die angeführte Problematik ist in diesem Text ausführlicher untersucht.

The paper deals with the types of Czech exonyms and with the development of their system. The classification is based on the origins of exonyms, on the frequency of their occurrence over time, and on their language formation. The study of the development of Czech forms of foreign geographical names has revealed three main stages of this process. The first one began in the early Middle Ages and continued approximately down to the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, the second phase covered the period spanning from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries to the mid-20th century and the third stage, very different in character from the preceding ones, belongs primarily to the period beginning in the 1950s. The paper studies topics mentioned in greater detail.
