    Studijata zapoznava s recepcijata na tvorčestvoto na K. Christov (1875–1944) v češka sreda. Do 1918 g. toj e predstavjan na češkite čitateli kato vitalen i erotičen lirik (vž. statiite na A. Teodorov-Balan i părvite prevodi na V. Šak). Părvite dve poseštenija na Christov v Čechija (prez 1898 i 1912 g.) stavat opredeljašti ya otnošenieto mu kăm neja – piše oda za češkija istorik F. Palacký, a prez 1902 g. e napraven opit operata na K. Machan „Choro“ po negovo libreto da băde preporăčana na Bărnenskija nemski teatăr. Do postavjaneto ì taka i ne se stiga, no Christov uspjava da săzdade lični kontakti s češkite literatori i prevodači F. R. Tichi-Broman i S. Forman. V češkata presa za nego pišat A. Černi, d-r K. Krastev, J. Pata i dr.
    Săštevremenno Tichi, sled kato prevežda njakolko liričeski miniatjuri ot stichosbirkata mu „Samodivska kitka“ (1904), započva da vižda v Christov adaptator, eksperimentirašt s bălgarskata narodna pesen. V navečerieto na Părvata svetovna vojna do češkata publika dostigat i părvite voenni pesni na Christov s nacionalistična orientacija, kakto i edin negov razkaz s voenna tematika. Naj-rannite kontakti na Christov s Čechija se zadălbočavat predimno po vreme na prestoja mu v Praga ot 1929 do 1938 g., kogato se pojavjavat ošte redica prevodi na tvorbite mu.


    The study addresses the early reception of Kiril Khristov's literary works by the Czech audience. Up to 1918 the author had been represented mainly as a vitalist and erotic lyricist (cf. papers by A. Teodorov-Balan, first translations by V. Šak). His first two visits to Bohemia (in 1898 and 1912) predetermined his relationship with this Central European country: Khristov wrote an ode to the Czech historian František Palacký and in 1902 he attempted to have K. Macháň's opera Horo (Circle dance), to which he himself wrote a libretto, staged at the German theatre in Brno (the opera after all was not staged). He also had personal relationships with Czech writers and translators (F. Tichý-Broman, S. Forman). A. Černý, Dr. K. Krastev, J. Páta and others wrote about him in the Czech press. F. Tichý, who discovered that Khristov was also experimenting as an arranger of Bulgarian folk songs, translated some of his lyrical miniatures from the collection Samodivska kitka (A Fairy's Bouquet) (1904). On the eve of World War I Khristov's first nationalist martial songs and one of his short stories on a military topic were made available to the Czech audience. These first contacts with the Czech cultural environment were intensified especially between 1929 and 1938 when the poet lived in Prague and many of his works were translated.
