Podstata studie spočívá v porovnání Českých zemí a Bavorska v letech 1861-1914 z hlediska systémů politických stran. Studie je vychází z předpokladu, že tehdy byly pro Bavorsko i pro České země vlastní dvě roviny vysoké politiky – úroveň zemská a říšská. Studie se hlavně zaměřuje na to, jakým způsobem se tato obdobná struktura politiky odrazila v systémech českých, moravských a bavorských politických stran.

This study intends to make a comparison of the Czech Lands and Bavaria between 1861 and 1914 in terms of their systems of political parties. The study is based on the assumption that there were two levels of high politics for Bavaria and for the Czech Lands – at the levels of province and empire. The study focuses in particular on what way this similar political structure was reflected in the systems of Czech, Moravian and Bavarian political parties.
