Faunistická studie shrnuje údaje o fauně štírků (Pseudoscorpiones) z CHKO Brdy a přiléhajících lokalit. Celkem na 35 lokalitách bylo nalezeno 1226 jedinců náležejících k 11 druhům. Nejhojnější byly Neobisium carcinoides a N. fuscimanum. Ke vzácným patří nálezy Allochernes peregrinus, Chernes cimicoides a Lamprochernes chyzeri. Skladba fauny je odlišná od jiných dříve studovaných oblastí.

In the present faunistic study, pseudoscorpion fauna from the recently established Brdy PLA and its adjacent localities was surveyed. Collecting was performed on 35 sites using pitfall traps, individual sampling under stones and tree bark and sifting of leaf litter or debris from tree hollows. In total, 1,226 specimens belonging to 11 species and three families were sampled. The most abundant species were Neobisium carcinoides (Hermann, 1804) and N. fuscimanum (C. L. Koch, 1843), forming 68% and 11% of the material. However, some rare species such as Allochernes peregrinus Lohmander, 1939, Chernes cimicoides (Fabricius, 1973) or Lamprochernes chyzeri (Tömösváry, 1882) were sampled as well. The structure of pseudoscorpion fauna in the Brdy PLA was slightly different from the areas studied before, and most likely some more species will be found in the area in the future.
