Pro stanovení předpokládaného průběhu komunikace hypoteticky užívané pro dopravu stavebního materiálu na hradiště Levý Hradec (k. ú. Žalov) bylo užito analýzy dostupnosti na základě frikčního povrchu, odvozeného z modelů výškopisu, vodní sítě a Toblerovy funkce. Modelovány byly tři varianty komunikačního spojení, a to trasa s nejnižší mírou frikce (nejrychlejší trasa) a dvě trasy s předpokládanými průchozími body stanovenými podle známých úseků komunikací. Ke každé variantě byly stanoveny alternativy s maximálním efektivním sklonem v rozsahu 5-9° a výsledky byly interpretovány vzhledem ke známému archeologickohistorickému kontextu.

In order to determine the expected course of the route, which was hypothetically used for the transport of building material to the Levý Hradec fortification (cadastral territory of Žalov), the accessibility analysis, based on the friction surface derived from elevation model, water network and Tobler's function, was used. Three options of the connection were modelled: the route with the lowest friction value (the fastest route) and two routes with assumed walkthrough-points determined according to the known sections of pathways. For each variant, alternatives with a maximum effective slope of 5-9° were determined and the results were interpreted with respect to the known archaeological-historical context.
