Die Studie fasst die grundlegenden Kategorien der archäologischen Quellen zur Bewegung der römischen Truppen auf dem Gebiet der Markomannen zusammen. Mit Hilfe von entwickelten Geoinformationsanalysen formuliert interpretativen Thesen zum Standort einzelner Lager und zu möglichen Kommunikationskorridoren, die von der römischen Armee im feindlichen Gebiet genutzt wurden.

The paper summarizes the basic categories of archaeological sources of the mobility of the Roman army on the territory of the Marcomanni. Using developed GIS analyses presents interpretative theses about the location of individual camps and about possible communication corridors used by the Roman army in the enemy territory.
