Abstract
"One of the more effective means of changing conditions in New York City ghetto areas
is the development of commmnity-owned businesses - whose employees live in the
neighborhood and whose profits benefit neighborhood people.
An organization was recently formed by people living in Bedford Stuyvesant for the
purpose of starting a community-based and owned business."
