- Abstract
- Door kunstenaars en theoretici wordt veel gedelibereerd over de betekenis van het begrip autonomie in de kunst, zeker sinds
de protesten tegen de overheidsbezuinigingen op de kunst. Cultuurwetenschapper Joost de Bloois vindt het huidige debat hierover
problematisch omdat het teveel van aannames uitgaat. Fundamentele tegenstrijdigheden binnen de kunstsector alsmede zijn complexe
relatie tot de politiek en het publieke domein worden vaak buiten beschouwing gelaten.
