We investigate non-reciprocal wave propagation in discretely modulated plates using a generalization of the Plane Wave Expansion Method (PWEM). This new analysis tool allows to compute the band diagram for a wider class of spatiotemporal materials, which can be decomposed in traveling plane wave components. In this context, we studied discretely modulated materials, which are able to violate mirror symmetry in the momentum space, therefore breaking reciprocity principle along different wave propagation directions.

Abstract
