This paper presents PoliCultura, a large-scale initiative introducing collaborative digital storytelling in formal education. PoliCultura has involved more than 17,000 participants from 2006, from pre-school to high school. It engages participants and also fosters the achievement of substantial educational benefits, monitored each year via online surveys, Skype interviews and focus groups. The paper describes the initiative and reports the evaluation’s data.
