At the moment Colombia is in a stage of development and inclusion of new markets that through the treaties of free trade has generated a globalized economy where in spite of that in the country the national industry is important the competitiveness in subjects of superior education , Economic, infrastructure, cultural, tourism, among other factors that can contribute in one way or another to development. Civil engineering is one of the branches of engineering based on the study, analysis, development, execution and control of civil works (roads, buildings, hydraulic works, among other infrastructure works) that are in favor of the growth of the region and from the country. While it is true that many civil projects are currently under development, it is important to note that there are also many projects that are suspended or delayed; These suspensions or delays are the product of a series of variables that affect this almost in a negative way in the execution of civil projects. The general objective of the project is: Identification of influential variables on performance in civil works. Specific objectives: To carry out an investigation of the yields in the different activities that are realized in a civil work. , Apply the tools of information collection to the stakeholders involved, Classify the variables that affect the performance in the civil work, Analyze the behavior of the variables that impair the behavior of the progress of a project. The development of the project met each of the specific objectives identifying the variables with the greatest impact on performance in civil works.
The tools used for the development of this project were the interviews developed to the directors of work, as well as the company and monitoring of the tutor, in order to generate the production of accurate information.
