La pragmática disciplina lingüística que estudia el uso del lenguaje en situaciones concretas de la comunicación humana comenzó a incluirse en investigaciones clínicas y terapéuticas a partir de la década de los años ochenta. Estudios investigativos más recientes realizados por Perkins (1998), Gallardo y Moreno (2006), Muñoz et al. (2006), Baixauli-Fortea et al. (2004), entre otros, así lo corroboran. La orientación de la pragmática en las patologías del lenguaje permite plantear pruebas que revelen las habilidades comunicativas del afásico, como también plantear tratamientos terapéuticos para la rehabilitación. The pragmatic linguistic discipline that studies the use of language in concrete situations of human communication began to be included in clinical and therapeutic investigations from the decade of the eighties. More recent research studies conducted by Perkins (1998), Gallardo and Moreno (2006), Muñoz et al. (2006), Baixauli-Fortea et al. (2004), among others, corroborate this. The orientation of the pragmatics in the pathologies of the language allows to propose tests that reveal the communicative skills of the aphasic, as well as to propose therapeutic treatments for the rehabilitation.
