We report the results of surgical treatment in a group of epiletic patients investigated with non invasive diagnostic techniques only. Of 108 patients who underwent pre surgical evaluation 28 were excluded for surgery. 13 patients required invasive monitoring, while 67 were referred for surgery. We present the data of 50 subjects having at least 1 year of folow up. 42 patients suffered from temporal lobe epilespy, 7 from frontal lobe epilepsy, while in one the epilepsy was multilobar. 42 patients are in Engel Class I (36 Class Ia). Epilepsy surgery proved to be effective in a high percentage of selected patients without the need of invasive diagnostic procedures.
