The presentation addresses the metadata requirements that research information management systems must meet and how repositories and current research information systems could interoperate by sharing the CERIF standard. CERIF allows rich semantic relationships to be established among its different entities, providing a comprehensive metadata description of the whole research activity at institutional level.
