Decay Times (tau) of the emission of oxygen bound excitons in ZnTe:O were measured from 5 to 300 K. The temperature dependence of tau is determined by the laser excitation energy: for resonant excitation into the oxygen vibrational band, a new and different behaviour appears with respect to the band to band excitation. Abstract

Interactions which are responsible for the temperature dependence of tau at different excitation energies are discussed.
