ESTRATEGIAS PERSUASIVAS EN EL SEGUNDO DISCURSO DE INVESTIDURA DE ISABEL DÍAZ AYUSO

This article analyses the investiture speech delivered by Isabel Díaz Ayuso on 17 June 2021 on the occasion of her second appointment as President of the Community of Madrid. After a brief description of her political career, useful for defining the context, and a brief description of the characteristics of the investiture speech, the theoretical and methodological bases on which the analysis is based will be explained. The aim of this study is to find out what discursive and persuasive strategies the President uses to construct her speech.
