Resumo
Como utilizar as artes visuais de forma a subverter as expectativas sociais para as performances de gênero convencionais e hegemônicas? Seria possível, através de produções artísticas desvirtuar as normas que são habitualmente repetidas em nosso cotidiano, soando como se fossem naturais? Para responder estas questões me proponho não somente a pesquisar artistas, que por meio de suas produções critiquem estas normas, mas também, este trabalho será como um mergulho de autodescoberta, isto é, uma produção artística que usarei de modo a questionar e entender minha própria performance de gênero, meu modo atual de estar no mundo.
How to use the visual arts as a way to subvert social expectations for conventional and hegemonic gender performances? Would it be possible, through artistic productions, to distort the norms that are commonly repeated in our daily lives, sounding as if they were natural? To answer these questions, I propose not only to research artists who, through their productions, criticize these norms, but also, this work will be like a dive of self-discovery, that is, an artistic production that I will use in order to question and understand my own genre performance, my current way of being in the world.
