Resumo
Nossa pesquisa busca responder questões relacionadas ao ensino de Geografia para as séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, o que possibilitou ampliarmos nosso horizonte de compreensão do espaço geográfico. Sendo o espaço geográfico o espaço de todos os seres humanos, de todas as instituições, de todas as ações e dado que estes sistemas de ações se realizam no lugar, há a possibilidade de pensar o outro, através de uma mediação dialética entre mundo e lugar, entre ensino e aprendizado. Além disso, a relação dialógica entre professor e aluno tem demonstrado ser este processo educativo compensador, quer para os resultados no aprendizado e participação do aluno, quer para o professor que atinge seus objetivos políticos e pedagógicos. Para isso, consideramos como relevante o entendimento dos espaços de proximidade do lugar onde os alunos vivem, para então, desenvolvermos práticas educativas que propiciem a eles ampliarem o conhecimento sobre as condições de sua existência, sobre o mundo e quiçá exercerem cidadania plena.
Our research has as its purpose to answer questions related to the Geography teaching for the first grades of Elementary School, what made it possible to open our view about the understanding about the geographic space. Once the geographic space belongs to the human to, all institutions and to all actions; and that these systems of actions happen in a place, there is a possibility of thinking about the other, through a dialectic mediation between world and place and between teaching and learning. Moreover, the dialogue relation between teacher and student has shown that this educative process as satisfactory to the teaching results and participation of the students and also to the teacher who reaches his political and pedagogical goals. Then, we consider as relevant the agreement of the proximity spaces where the students live, then we can develop educative practices that can help students to broaden thein knowledge about the conditions of their existence, about the world, and maybe they will practice full citizenship.
