Resumo
O objetivo central que norteou este estudo foi compreender como ocorreu a incorporação de um programa estruturado para Educação Infantil, originário de uma instituição particular de ensino, a partir dos envolvidos no processo de escolarização das crianças - pais, professores e dirigentes da Rede Pública Municipal. Para o alcance deste objetivo, optamos por investigar a sala de Pré II de um Núcleo de Educação Infantil. Esse Núcleo é responsável pelo atendimento de crianças de 0 a 3 anos em horário integral e de 4 a 6 anos em horário parcial, em uma cidade do interior paulista. O referencial teórico que subsidiou a análise dos dados está baseado: a) em estudos sobre a educação, seus objetivos e suas finalidades num contexto neoliberal; b) no apontamento de itens importantes presentes na caracterização histórica da Educação Infantil no Brasil e na concepção de currículo para a faixa etária abordada neste estudo; c) em estudos sobre a concepção de criança no contexto neoliberal. A investigação mantém afinidades com as abordagens qualitativas de pesquisa e com os estudos de caráter etnográfico. A partir da problemática central, três eixos delimitaram o campo de análise: a concepção de criança encontrada no discurso dos diferentes envolvidos no processo realizado na cidade pesquisada; a estrutura de currículo pertencente ao programa estruturado; e as finalidades explícitas e implícitas da implantação de um programa estruturado na Rede Pública Municipal. As principais considerações da pesquisa discutem a legitimidade da unificação do currículo iniciada na cidade investigada, os modelos impostos pelo Sistema de ensino e ajustados ao modelo neoliberal e, por fim, as diferenças existentes entre os protagonistas desta pesquisa.
The main objective of this study was to understand how a new Private Educational System structured for young children was imp;emented, using research and interviews with the parents, teachers and directors of Public Municipal Schools, involved in the new system. As a way to reach this objective, it was decided to investigate a class of 5 year old children at a Public Child's Care Center, caring for the childrens ages 0 through to 3 years, full day as well as for children ages 4 through to 6 for half the day, in a town in the interior of the State of São Paulo. The theoretical reference material that provided the guidelines for na analysis of the research data gatheredwas basead on a) result os research publicactions that deal with child education, its objectives and uses in a neoliberal ambient; b) the study of data, covering important items that are present in historical characterization as to children's educationin Brazil, as well as comprehension of a work plan and other specifications for the age groups covered by this study; c) in studies covering the comprhension of children in a neoliberal ambient. The investigation revealedsimilarities in the results of the issues studied and other ethnographic characteristicas studies. With regards to the main subject of this study, three axis limited the scope of the studies: the comprehension of children by those involved in the process established, in the town that was stdied; the work plan other specifications structure of the structured program, and the explicit and implied objectives of implementing a structured program in the Municipal Public Educational System.
