Comment:Bishop Nathanael Zografski, born Nesho Stoyanov Boykikev (1820 - 1906), was a cleric, writer, and revolutionary. He was one of the first promoters of literature in modern Bulgaria. He became Bishop of Ohrid (1874 - 1880) and of Plovdiv (from 1891 until his death). Nathanael Zografski was a member of the Bulgarian Literary Society (renamed "Bulgarian Academy of Sciences" in 1911). Nathanael is considered ethnic Macedonian in the Republic of Macedonia.
