The authors discuss the possibility that some aspects of psychoanalytic theory represent a tool for the interpretation of criminal behaviour. Following the topic of Dostoevsky in The Karamazov they put on the hypothesis that the criminal person acts his crime on behalf of all humanity, acting out aggression and permitting the sublimation of non criminal people.

Abstract
The authors discuss the possibility that some aspects of psychoanalytic theory represent a tool for the interpretation of criminal behaviour.
