This paper reports a short review of recent developments in the field of microwave imaging, which have been obtained by using deterministic quantitative approaches based on the inexact-Newton method. Numerical and experimental results recently attained by using the above mentioned methods are discussed with specific reference to nondestructive evaluation of dielectric materials such as plastic and wood.

Abstract

This paper reports a short review of recent developments in the field of microwave imaging, which have been obtained by using deterministic quantitative approaches based on the inexact-Newton method.
