Le relazioni tra le Due Sicilie e la Francia nel primo decennio della Restaurazione

Nell'età della Restaurazione, dopo la fine del blocco continentale, il primato industriale andava all'Inghilterra che, grazie al sistema di produzione capitalistico, inondava i mercati di merci a basso costo. La conseguente alterazione degli equilibri dei mercati europei spinse le altre nazioni a studiare delle strategie di difesa e di adeguamento ai nuovi standard di produzione. All'interno di questo contesto venne a crearsi una particolare situazione di ostilità tra la Francia e le Due Sicilie che avevano stipulato un accordo privato con l'Inghilterra dando inizio al tentativo di industrializzazione del Regno. Subsequent alteration of European market's balance pushed other countries into studying strategies of defence and adjusting to new production standards. Within this context a peculiar hostile attitude between France and the Two Sicilies, which stipulated a private deal with England, thus starting the attempet of industrilisation of the Kingdom.
