On 24 september 2012, just over two years since the beginning, the IX legislature comes to an early end with the resignation of the Presidente Renata Polverini. This is the result of a deep political crisis due to scandals for the managements of the funds inside the regional Council. The essay tackles the complex events connectect with the setting of the date of elections and critically retrace the regulatory activity of Lazio Region during the last legislation.

Il 24 settembre 2012, dopo poco più di due anni dal suo avvio, si conclude anticipatamente la IX legislatura con le dimissioni del Presidente Renata Polverini a seguito della grave crisi politica aperta dagli scandali sulla gestione dei fondi regionali all'interno del Consiglio della Regione Lazio. Il saggio affronta le vicende relative alla fissazione della data delle elezioni e ripercorre criticamente la produzione normativa della Regione nel corso della legislatura.
