Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine a coaches' perspective and an athletic director's perspective, on their impact on a player's performance. The study utilized descriptive research. The research was done using a questionnaire which involved 6 questions regarding player's performance. Data was collected by Zoom meetings and phone calls. Research showed that positive results can come from the coaches and athletic director's leadership styles. The key to measuring success for coaches and the athletic directors are based on the performance an attitude of their players. However, this study is limited to the perspectives of two coaches and one athletic director. Research should be continued in order to further the study by examining the perspectives of athletic students. Because of Covid 19 and the closure of the campus to students; it was not possible to interview students.
