Abstract
During the past year, the major breakthroughs in the field of ordered mesoporous silicas have been the development of various techniques to control the morphologies of the materials on the macroscale and to align the pores of the materials on the microscale. The quality of the materials has also greatly improved, and the ability to control pore size in the size range up to 50 nm is on the horizon.
