Studio Ghibli, arguably one of the most important film studios in cinematic history, is soon to close down after a run with some of the most brilliant and imaginative animations. Although entertaining, dark themes and secret stories haunt their wall. Susan Napier explains Miyazaki, Suzuki, and Takahata's role in the creation of such ghosts.
