O artesanato urbano e sua relação com o artesanato tradicional e o design

Abstract

Numa sociedade em constante mudança, onde a globalização influencia no nosso quotidiano e traz o desejo individual de estar sempre em mudança. É nesse contexto actual que surge a importância de entender as actividades que surgem do povo e que ao se unir à arte e ao trabalho manual transformam-se em uma nova referência como resposta às nossas necessidades. A área de estudo visa investigar o impacto do trabalho manual, aqui referido como artesanato urbano, em um âmbito português.

In a society in constant change, the globalization influences our everyday lives and brings the individual desire to be always changing. In this actual context arises the importance of understanding the activities that arise from people and that by joining the art and the manual work to become a new reference in response to our needs. This study aims to investigate the impact of manual work, here referred as urban craft in a Portuguese context.
