Redes de sociabilidade no ciberespaço lusófono

Abstract

As redes sociais que se estabelecem no contexto digital permitem a análise do modo como a posição dos atores numa rede influencia o seu acesso a vários recursos, como por exemplo, à informação. O acesso a estes recursos auxilia a participação dos indivíduos no ciberespaço, enquanto cidadãos ativos, com capacidade de criar e produzir significados e sentidos neste contexto. Com o recurso aos softwares Ucinet e Netdraw, analisámos as redes que se estabelecem no seio das blogosferas brasileira, moçambicana e portuguesa, tendo por base uma cartografia realizada, durante um período de três meses, a 348 Weblogs do ciberespaço lusófono. As redes que apresentamos representam as sociabilidades virtuais entre os autores dos Weblogs desta cartografia, tendo sido dada especial atenção ao contexto real onde estes se movem e às condições de acesso à rede nos três países em estudo.

The social networks that are established in the digital environment allow the analysis of how the position the actors detain within a network affects their access to various resources, including to information. The access to these resources helps individuals to participate in cyberspace, as active citizens, able to create and produce meanings in this context. In this paper, is discussed some of the research developed in a broader project which had as main objective the analysis of how 'Lusophone' identity is (re)constructed in cyberspace and in everyday interpersonal communication. Using Ucinet and Netdraw software, are presented the networks established within the Brazilian, Mozambican and Portuguese blogospheres, based on a mapping that analyses the monitoring carried out over a period of three months, in 348 Weblogs of the Lusophone cyberspace. We examine the virtual networks of sociability among the authors of Weblogs of this mapping, with particular attention to the real context in which they move, and to the conditions of network access in the three countries under study.
