O papel da educação não formal em contexto associativo

Abstract

A educação é indispensável para o desenvolvimento pessoal e social do ser humano. Este trabalho tem por objetivo problematizar e refletir a categoria da educação não formal, em espaço associativo, onde decorrem legítimos processos educativos e formativos. Para compreender a riqueza deste espaço, durante a investigação realizada, foi possível imergir no terreno de forma a conhecer e analisar as dinâmicas empreendidas e colaborar nas atividades desenvolvidas. Tendo presente os objetivos deste trabalho, foi realizado um levantamento de necessidades e interesses de formação que mereceu a atenção de ambos públicos-alvo, mobilizando diversas técnicas de recolha de dados como: inquérito por questionário, análise documental, observação participante e não participante, conversas informais e entrevistas. Procuraram-se meios e estratégias para implementar formações contextualizadas, atendendo às caraterísticas do contexto e às expectativas individuais, salvaguardando que estas fossem construídas de forma participativa, articulando objetivos, práticas e metodologias para facilitar a aquisição de aprendizagens e competências. Este trabalho permitiu olhar para uma realidade complexa e plural, verificando que independente do contexto, o modo não formal de aprender possui potencialidades educativas e formativas elevadas, mobilizando o envolvimento dos indivíduos e desenvolvendo em parceira experiências educativas válidas.

Education is essential to the personal and social development of the human being. This study aims to discuss and reflect about non-formal education, in associative environments, in which arises very interesting educational and training processes. To understand the richness of this area, during the research it was possible to immerse in the field in order to understand and investigate how everything comes together and, also, to collaborate in the activities. Bearing in mind the objectives of this study, a survey was conducted to evaluate the interests and training, which deserve the attention of both target audience, by mobilizing several data collection techniques such as: survey by questionnaire, document analysis, participant and non-participant observation, formal and informal interviews. Tools and strategies were sought to implement contextualized training, taking into account the characteristics of the context and individual expectations, safeguarding that these were built in a participatory way, articulating goals, practices and methodologies to facilitate knowledge’s acquisition and skills. This research allowed to understand a complex and plural reality, verifying that, regardless of context, non-formal ways of learning has high educational and training potential, mobilizing the involvement of people and developing shared participatory experiences.
