| Abstract: | A gravidez é um momento onde a mulher é particularmente receptiva às orientações de saúde que irão auxiliá-la na criação de seu bebê. É importante que as gestantes durante o pré-natal, através da educação em saúde, recebam toda a orientação necessária sobre hábitos saudáveis e cuidados com a higiene bucal. Este estudo teve como objetivo demonstrar a influência da educação em saúde bucal no âmbito familiar da gestante, através da mudança de comportamento e adoção de hábitos saudáveis. Através da educação em saúde bucal, a mulher poderá atuar como agente multiplicador de informações no ambiente familiar; devendo ter consciência de que se educa é pelo exemplo. |
| Abstract: | Pregnancy is a time where women are particularly receptive to health guidance that will assist her in raising her baby. It is important that pregnant women during prenatal care, through health education, receive all the necessary guidance on healthy habits and oral hygiene care. This study aimed to demonstrate the influence of oral health education for pregnant women in the family, through behavior change and healthy habits. Through oral health education, women can act as a multiplier of information in the family environment; should be aware that if education is by example. |
