Abstract
Table tennis is a popular sport played all around the world. The Netherlands is just a pin point on the world map and as a relatively small table tennis nation has difficulty connecting to the highest international levels. Currently, there are several challenges in the estimation of potential and facilitating the road to excellence. A description of the current approach, new evidence-based insights and technological tools are presented with the goal of supporting practice and building a sustainable and thrifty talent approach.
