Hotel Castaneda, Las Vegas, New Mexico, circa 1907-1913. Caption reads: "The Castaneda, at Las Vegas, is built in mission style of architecture. It is named after Pedro de Castaneda, a Spanish soldier who was principal historian of Coronado's expedition into the Southwest in 1540. Las Vegas is the second city in New Mexico in size.
