Abstract
  • This document covers the massive decline in catch and return on trout stocked in Diamond Lake starting in the 90s and describes issues addressing the most likely cause, an increased Tui chub population competing for resources with the trout. The report discusses the persistent issue of Tui chub in Diamond Lake, and compares catch of Tui chub and Rainbow trout from Diamond Lake from 1985 through 1995. See also: A preliminary report on the Diamond Lake study, which discusses a similar issue in 1947. https://ir.library.oregonstate.edu/xmlui/handle/1957/42827
