Cordaitean Predation Photos 2019: Mounted Peels, Harvard Collection. Plate 20A
Abstract
Cones A (picture 2) and B (picture 1) are mature cordaitean cones laden with golden and brown coprolites, both types deposited in strings (pictures 3, 4, 5 and 6). No coprolites were found in the matrix. Picture 8 shows a grain of Florinites with a ruptured trilete mark. Plate 20A is a successive peel taken from the same coal ball as other plates labeled 20.
