Abstract
This document represents the data report for datasets collected by researchers
based at the Centre for Earth Observation Science (CEOS), University of
Manitoba, under the Sea Ice research component of the ArcticNet Network for
2011. Our group is actively involved in research that revolves around improving
our understanding of ocean-sea ice-atmosphere dynamic and thermodynamic
coupling, as well as how this coupling impacts the ecology of the sea ice, and the
waters immediately beneath. We employ a large ensemble of ship-based
sensors, and physical sampling equipment that collect sensor-based
atmospheric, oceanic and sea ice data. Our data collection efforts are driven by
many interlinked objectives.
