Abstract
This fact sheet provides data and statistics on sexual violence up to 2012, and is the most recent sexual violence fact sheet on the CDC’s Violence Prevention website. It includes general sexual violence statistics broken down by age group and race/ethnicity demographics and statistics on perpetrators’ relationships to victims. Finally, it reports on the number of non-fatal injuries and health conditions resulting from sexual violence and how many victims receive medical treatment. (CVRL Abstract)
