Abstract
Książka składa się z dwóch zasadniczych części; teoretycznej i praktycznej. W pierwszej części, dokonano kompleksowej analizy i refleksji nad rodziną jako środowiskiem wychowawczym stymulującym optymalny rozwój dziecka. Poświęcono również wiele miejsca emocjonalnemu rozwojowi dziecka i zaspakajaniu jego potrzeb oraz problemowi sieroctwa społecznego i jego kompensacji. W części drugiej, przedstawiono podstawowe założenia badawcze oraz charakterystykę zastosowanych metod i sposób przeprowadzenia bań. Dokonano również analizy ilościowej i jakościowej uzyskanych wyników badań empirycznych oraz wyników badań dotyczących realizacji podstawowych potrzeb fizycznych i psychicznych dzieci i młodzieży z rodzin zastępczych i dysfunkcjonalnych w środowisku rodzinnym, szkolnym i koleżeńskim. W tej części publikacji przeanalizowano także wpływ poziomu zaspokojenia podstawowych potrzeb fizycznych i psychicznych na proces socjalizacji dzieci i młodzieży z rodzin zastępczych i dysfunkcjonalnych. Publikacja jest zatem interesującym studium, zawierającym nie tylko opis i ocenę tego, w jakim zakresie wybrane potrzeby fizyczne i psychiczne dzieci i młodzieży z rodzin zastępczych i dysfunkcjonalnych są zaspokajane w tychże rodzinach oraz w szerszym środowisku społecznym ale także wyjaśnieniem, które może pomóc lepiej zrozumieć warunki społeczno-kulturowe rozwoju dziecka
The book is composed of two principal parts: theoretical and practical ones. The first part presents a complex analysis and reflection on the family as the educational environments stimulating the optimum development of a child. A lot of space is also devoted to the emotional development of a child and the satisfaction of the latter’s needs as well as to the problem pf social orphanhood and its compensation. The other part discusses the basic research assumptions and characterization of the applied methods together with the way of conducting the studies. Besides, quantitative and qualitative analyses have been made of the obtained empirical results as well as the results of studies referring to the realization of the basic physical and psychical needs of the children and the youth from foster and dysfunctional families in the family, school and mate environments. This part of the present publication also analyses the influence of the level of satisfying the basic physical and psychical needs on the process of socialization of children and teenagers from foster and dysfunctional families. Therefore, the present publication is an interesting study, containing not only a description and estimation of the range in which selected physical and psychical problems of children and teenagers from foster and dysfunctional families are satisfied in these families and in a broader social environment, but also an explanation which may help understand better the social-cultural conditions of the development of a child.
