Los cuidados paliativos a domicilio tienen como objetivo aliviar el sufrimiento proporcionando una muerte digna, con la finalidad de mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes y apoyar a la familia en el proceso de final de vida. El personal de enfermería debe atender al paciente de manera holística, ofreciendo soporte emocional, espiritual, social y físico.
