Abstract/Description:
Beginning in 1977 through 1989, La Alianza Hispana hosted a Three Kings' Day celebration, an important religious holiday for Latinos generally observed on January 6, twelve days after Christmas. The event was administered annually by Youth Development Unit of La Alianza Hispana. The Three Kings' Day celebrations at La Alianza Hispana included a reenactment of this event, sometimes with a pageant, party, and gifts. In this photograph, three children have their hands raised in the audience. There are adults seated and standing by the wall in the background. .
