Eddy current probe measures size of cracks in nonmetallic materialsNondestructive method uses powdered iron and eddy current probe to measure the depth/width ratio of cracks in electrically nonconductive materials. The eddy current probe measures the mass of metal in the crack after it has been filled with the powdered iron.
