A report of a Conference on Advanced Composites: An Assessment of the FutureA conference was held to evaluate the current status and future commitment to composites by government and industry. This reassessment, was felt needed because of an apparent transition in the acceptance of composites. The management of government agencies restated their progress and commitment to the development of composites and industrial management defined their concerns and requirements to commit to the future use of composites.
