Finite difference analysis of rotordynamic seal coefficients for an eccentric shaft positionThe dynamic coefficients of seals are calculated for shaft movements around an eccentric position. The turbulent flow is described by the Navier-Stokes equations in connection with a turbulence model. The equations are solved by a finite-difference procedure.
