Search For Effects of an Electrostatic Potential on Clocks in the Frame of Reference of a Charged ParticleThe Program Planning meeting was held on Jan 27-28 at the Washington University, Dept. of Physics. Experiment strategies and details were discussed and milestones mapped. Dr. Ringermacher, the program technical leader and Co-Principal Investigator, presented a Physics Department seminar on the theory and experiment in progress. Following the meeting Professor Conradi (CO-PI) and his students designed the NMR probe and electronics required for the experiment and submitted the drawings to the shop for fabrication. Dr. Cassenti, at UTRC, initiated analytic and computer analysis of the experimental conditions in order to anticipate possible classical effects. Dr. Ringermacher, at KRONOTRAN, re-evaluated the experiment interpretation from the theory and continued working to secure its underpinnings.
