Somewhere in the RainbowAerometrics, Inc.'s Rainbow Refractometer was developed through an SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) contract with Lewis Research Center. The system is a non- intrusive instrument for measuring droplet inside of refraction. It can also derive the temperature and chemical composition of refractive droplets. The technology can be integrated with the Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer systems (featured in Spinoff 1994) or used independently.
