Cars have always been seen, by most people, as a simple way of transportation. However, for more then 2 decades, real car enthusiasts have developed a real passion for some particular models/brands. They started to buy cars based on their beauty, power, racing history... As a result, some of these cars become ''classic'' and their value started to increase drastically because of the demand. This impressive surge in the value of classic car models started to bring interest to investors. After a while, the return on investment of some particular car models were so impressive that a few individuals with financial backgrounds started to create investment funds specialised in classic car only. This thesis will highlights the risks and opportunities of investing in these funds, from an investor's point of view. It will begin with a review of the classic car market, followed by an analysis of classic car funds and finish with an evaluation of the financial performance of this asset.
