Human Genome Editing: Science, Ethics, and Governance - Traduction partielle et commentée

Ce mémoire est une traduction partielle et commentée de l’ouvrage « Human Genome Editing : Science, Ethics and Governance » publié en 2017. Ce travail de fin d’études se divise en trois parties. La première partie sera une introduction proposant un survol du l’histoire de la discipline de la génétique et de la révolution des outils de modification du génome, avant d’ensuite aborder l’encadrement des recherches menées sur le génome humain ainsi que les questions éthiques que soulève une potentielle application à l’homme. La deuxième partie sera consacrée à la traduction partielle de l’ouvrage. Enfin, la troisième partie abordera les commentaires de traduction relatifs aux difficultés rencontrées ainsi qu’à différents aspects et certains phénomènes caractéristiques de la traduction scientifique. This thesis is a partial and commented translation of « Human Genome Editing : Science, Ethics and Governance », published in 2017. This work is divided into three parts. The first one will be an introduction offering an overview of the genetic discipline and the revolution of genome editing tools, before analysing the legal framework surrounding researches of the human genome and the ethical questions raised by its potential application to humans. The second part will expose the partial translation. Finally, the third part will cover various problems encountered during the translation and some characteristics of scientific translation.
